What's your cell phone's ringtone? What made you pick it?
Where is My Mind by the Pixies. Just tone, not mp3--I'm not that advanced. I picked it because I can never find the damn phone. I sing, "Where is my phone" to the melody.

Bottom right, "QuickVote" dealie
Our garden is ripening. We will have a gazillion tomatoes and eggplants. The basil is enormous. Each of the four grape vines has huge clusters of green grapes. I've been meaning to update photos soon.
The flame seedless has a few grape clusters with more than half pink berries. The birds are coming from all around the neighborhood to sample these grapes. Starlings, mocking birds, jays. They strut across the top of the fence like little Mick Jaggers, threatening each other and taking turns swooping in to harvest one grape at a time. Miro, just back from Seattle, was astonished by how reduced the ripest bunch has become.
"I'll get my slingshot," Miro announced.
"Dont worry, it's good hunting for Jacob."
"Jacob hunts crunchies out of his dish. I'm growing these for Sasha, not for the birds!"
Not wanting to witness bloodshed, I left to check on the baby. When I returned, I was pleased to see Miro outside wrapping grape clusters in cheesecloth.
These are absolutely adorable. It makes me want to give it a try. read more
